History
Lindsay started writing when she was in elementary school and published her first books through the Scholastic® young writers’ program in the 6th and 8th grades. She continued writing both poetry and fiction through high school and college until she began working in her undergraduate university’s writing center. Through tutoring students and proofreading papers in various disciplines, Lindsay found her love for editing. Ever since, she has striven to hone her editing skills, which culminated in her performing copyediting at a level of mastery in a graduate-level editing course. Lindsay started freelance editing in 2012 and has succeeded in bringing editing into every aspect of her life since then, from volunteering as a newsletter editor for a non-profit to working as a senior editor at a university.
Lindsay and Robert officially opened Hallowell Publishing Group, LLC in November of 2017. Since then, they've focused on building relationships with their authors to give them the best service money can buy.
