manuscript evaluation
Manuscript evaluations are less rigorous than editing services. During a manuscript evaluation, our editors will take note of the highs and the lows and provide you with an essay that points out what you did well and gives suggestions on what could be improved. Think of it as a beta read only with an editor’s expertise guiding it.
proofreading
Proofreading is the last step of the editing process and happens after the manuscript has been formatted. During a proofread, our editors will catch those pesky errors that have made it through the copyediting round or were introduced during formatting.
